3 Days Tour in Java: Bromo, Tumpak Sewu & Ijen Crater

Description:

With a goal of seeing the blue fire phenomenon and the crater of Mount Ijen, the sunrise and crater of Mount Bromo, the majesty of the Tumpak Sewu waterfall, and the magnificent Tetes Cave, this three-day, two-night private tour package leaves Bali at night. Malang or Surabaya is where the tour ends.

Day 0

06.00pm Pick up at Bali area and ETD Paltuding Ijen (dinner on the way)

Day 1

01.00am ETA Paltuding and trekking to the crater for sightseeing, Blue Fire, and Ijen craters
08.00 am Breakfast and coffee in the morning
09.00 am ETD to Tumpak Sewu homestay (lunch on the way)
02.30 pm ETA to the homestay and free program

Day 2

06.00am Breakfast and coffee in the morning
06.30am Sightseeing in Tumpak Sewu Waterfall; continue visiting Goa Tetes accompanied by a local guide (we recommend wearing short pants, a t-shirt, and slippers)
11:00 am Back to the homestay and lunch
12:00 nn Check out from the homestay and ETD to the hotel in the Bromo area
05.00pm ETA hotel in Bromo area, check-in, and free program

Day 3 

03.00am Bromo Sunrise Tour: Drive by 4WD to visit the destinations mentioned below.
04.00 am ETA Penanjakan/Kingkong Hill viewpoint: enjoy the sunrise and Bromo view from above 2,700m; continue to visit Love Hill Bromo
06.00am ETD to Bromo Desert
06.30 am ETA Bromo Desert & sightseeing
07.00 am Trekking to Bromo crater (approximately 2 km), sightseeing, and visiting Pura Luhur Poten temple
09.00am Back to the hotel for breakfast and coffee in the morning.
11:00am Check out from hotel ETD to Surabaya/Malang
02.30 pm ETA Surabaya/Malang and tour finished.

What you have to prepare:

Tumpak Sewu waterfall 

- Wear t-shirt and shorts that dry quickly
- Use sandals or shoes that have a strong grip.
- Bring water during trekking Tumpak Sewu waterfall
- It is recommended to carry a waterproof material to protect your hardware

Mount Bromo:

- Dress warmly as temperatures can be cold, especially in the early morning
- Bring a mask to protect against the volcanic ash and the sand dust from Mount Bromo
- Bring water during trekking to Bromo crater
- Respect the local Tenggerese people and their customs

Ijen crater

- Dress warmly as temperatures can be cold, especially in the early morning
- Bring light during the 3 km trek because you're going to face dark weather
- Bring water during trekking to Ijen Crater.
- Be ready to breathe in strong sulfur fumes; a gas mask will be provided by our local guide.
- Don't bring property/jewelry made of gold, silver, copper because it will be oxidized/contaminated by sulfur
